Juniors and Ladies April Round Up

We had a fantastic turn out on Easter weekend for the British Junior Championship. It was our first ever Junior Open with close to 80 participants with ages from 5-17yrs old. Fantastic day enjoyed by many who said that they will come back next year.

MASSIVE thank you to Hayley Bennett and Rebecca Sawyers for their super hard work doing the registration and then being roped into doing the scoring.

MASSIVE congratulations to everyone of our kids who participated in the day. Too many to mention but a HUGE congrats has to go to Morgan Mellin who came 3rd in the over girls gross event but also WON the overall net competition.

Here are the overall results and photos from the event in the link below.

Well Done to Fallon Sawyers Grandon in his win on the Ping Junior Tour at North Wales.

Well done to Rebecca Gonzalez, for winning the girls 6 hole competition at Ashburnham.

Thank you to all the juniors who came to our Easter Golf Camp on Monday and Tuesday! You were all a pleasure to teach! I hope you had as much fun as we did taking the sessions. Stay posted for our Summer Golf Camp in the 6 week holiday.

It was a pleasure to take a New2Golf class for the Autistic Chinese Child's Society this week, all children looked like they were having a blast during the session.

Just a reminder to all that our Cobra Demo Day is on the 29th April between 2:00-6:00, to book your spot ring the pro shop, spaces are filling up fast.

The Ladies New2Golf sessions are underway, thank you to all who took part in the first session on putting. There are still spaces available for all to take part. Book via the pro-shop, the next session will be focused on chipping.

Above is a photo of our last years new2golf ladies playing in their first competition.
