This year’s Junior Championship was held on Sunday 26th September.

Junior Members played in 18 hole and 9 hole competitions from white, red and blue tees. Categories were made up of boys and girls with ages ranging from 7 to 16. Congratulations to everyone who took part. It was a great day, where all of the competitors played very good golf with smiles on their faces.

Our winners were:

11 year old Fallon Sawyers-Grandon (pictured with Club Captain, Lester McCalmon) who won the 18 hole white tee competition)

10 year old Sam Matthews, 18 hole red tee champion

8 year old Macsen Dyer, 9 hole blue tee champion

Our girl Juniors played exceptionally well too. Eve Clunis-Wheway placed 3rd in the red tee competition and Esme Matthews was overall runner-up in the blue tee competition. Our Leading Girls are pictured below:

Players with the lowest gross scores won on the day, stableford points will be carried forward to the Annual Awards Presentation.
