GRAND FINAL 2022
EAST LOTHIAN, SCOTLAND

Congratulations to 5 Swansea Bay juniors for qualifying for the Grand Final of the national Wee Wonders championship this year. Fallon Sawyers-Grandon (12), Sam Matthews (11), Darcie Bromham (10), Phoebe Gorvett (10) and Esme Matthews (8) competed at Gullane Golf Club and North Berwick Golf Club over the August Bank Holiday, representing both Swansea Bay Golf Club and Wales.

After 4 rounds, Esme was 2nd in the 8 & Under category, with 1 stroke separating 1st and 2nd place. Darcie, Phoebe, Fallon and Sam all placed in the top 15 in their age ranges with some excellent scores.

Esme automatically qualified for the Wee Wonders Grand Final 2023 and all 5 have qualified for the US Kids European Championship next May.

Swansea Bay Golf Club is very proud of their achievements and their exemplary behaviour and etiquette.
